As part of the world’s largest restaurant company it is vital that Pizza Hut can respond quickly to their customers needs and maintain their customer base.
Pizza Hut in Canterbury contacted us with a requirement for a delivery map of their trade zone that would enable them to quickly identify a customer’s proximity to the store and enable effective route planning for their delivery drivers.
Pizza Hut’s requirement was to obtain a map showing street names with grid squares (lettered horizontally and numbered vertically) added over the top, that could be cross referenced when the customer gave their address upon ordering. An alphabetical street index listing at the side of the map would tell the map user which grid square (e.g. Abbey Gardens – 9H) the delivery would be made to.
A-Z 1 to 14,000 scale street mapping was chosen due to the matchless level of detail that it possesses and the up to date nature of the mapping data. The street index was added to the right hand side of the map to produce a wall map with a total printed size of 1029mm x 729mm. The printed Paper map was then Laminated to give a layer of protection and to also give the further option of writing on the map with dry wipe marker pens if required.
